Each route on Scenic is linked to one or more operators. The main operator is shown prominently on the listing — with their logo, branding, and contact details. If a route is jointly operated or run under contract by multiple companies, you can add all of them.
Where to find it
In the route editor, go to Operators.
Main operator vs. all operators
The main operator is the company whose branding and contact details are shown first on the listing. This should be the operator most passengers will identify with the route — typically the company whose vehicles and livery they’ll see.
The all operators field lets you add any additional companies involved in running the route. These might include a transport authority, a ticketing partner, or a seasonal contractor.
Tips
- Make sure the main operator’s profile on Scenic is complete — their logo, contact details, and brand colour all appear on your route listing
- If the operating company changes, update this field promptly so passengers don’t contact the wrong operator
- If you’re not sure which company should be set as the main operator, think about which brand passengers will recognise from the bus stop or vehicle livery
You can manage operator profiles in the Scenic Listings Manager under Operators.
