The route connections field lets you show passengers how they can connect to or from your route using other services. It’s particularly useful for scenic routes where passengers might combine multiple legs — for example, taking your route to a trailhead and catching a different service back.
Where to find it
In the route editor, go to Locations > Route connections.
What to add
You can link to other routes already listed on Scenic. Search for the route by name or number, select it, and it will appear as a connection on your listing. The connection is shown to passengers with a brief indication of where the two routes meet.
Tips
- Add connections that are genuinely useful for planning a trip — a nearby route that serves the same corridor, or a connecting service at a key interchange point
- Only connect to routes already listed on Scenic; if a connecting service isn’t listed yet, encourage that operator to list it
- You don’t need to add every possible connection — three to five well-chosen ones are more helpful than an overwhelming list
