Adding a route map URL or file

A route map helps passengers understand exactly where the service goes before they travel. You can add a map by linking to an external page or uploading an image or PDF file.

Where to find it

In the route editor, go to Media > Route map.

URL or file?

If your route map is already online — on your operator website or a transport mapping service — paste in the URL. If you have a map as an image or PDF, you can upload that instead.

Tips

  • A simple, clear map is better than an elaborate one — passengers just want to know where the route goes
  • If you’re uploading an image, use a high-resolution file (at least 1200px wide) so it’s legible on screen
  • PDFs are fine for detailed maps, but an image file will display more cleanly inline on the listing
  • Update the map if your route changes — an outdated map is more confusing than no map at all
