You can add external links to your route listing — for example, a link to your operator’s website, a relevant Wikipedia article, or a guide to the places served by the route. These appear as a “Useful links” section on your listing page and give passengers useful context and next steps.
Where to find it
In the route editor, go to Details > Useful links & articles.
What to add
You can add a URL and a short label for each link. Choose links that genuinely add value for a passenger planning a journey — a timetable page, a visitor guide for the areas served, or a news article about the route all make good candidates.
Tips
- Keep link labels concise and descriptive — “Plan your visit to the Yorkshire Dales” rather than “click here”
- Check all links are still working before adding them
- Don’t duplicate your timetable link here if you’ve already added it in the Timetable section
- Two to four links is usually plenty — more than that can feel cluttered
