You can highlight specific attractions along your route — things like stately homes, museums, viewpoints, or nature reserves. These appear as featured highlights on your listing, drawing attention to the very best the route has to offer.
Where to find it
In the route editor, go to Locations > Popular attractions.
How it works
You choose from attractions already in Scenic’s database. These are “things to do” that have been added to locations in the system — individual entries for specific places like Chatsworth House, Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, or Loch Lomond Shores.
If the attraction you want to highlight isn’t in Scenic yet, you’ll need to add it as a “thing to do” via the relevant location page first. You can do this in the Locations Dashboard.
Tips
- Choose four to six attractions that are genuinely accessible by this route
- Pick a mix — landscape, heritage, activities — to appeal to different types of traveller
- Prioritise well-known or visually striking places that travellers are likely to recognise
- Make sure the attractions are actually reachable by bus from this route’s stops
