Travellers often want to know what kind of vehicle operates on a route before they travel — whether it’s an open-top bus, a heritage coach, a modern low-floor vehicle, or something else entirely. The vehicle options section lets you answer those questions directly on your listing.
Where to find it
In the route editor, go to FAQs > Vehicle options.
What to add
You’ll see a set of options to select from — covering vehicle types such as open-top, double decker, single decker, heritage coach, and more. Select all that apply to your route. You can also note accessibility features like wheelchair spaces and audio announcements.
Tips
- Be accurate — passengers with accessibility needs in particular rely on this information to plan their journey
- If your vehicle type varies (for example, open-top in summer only), add a note in your marketing description or service update callout to explain the variation
- Open-top and heritage vehicles are a real selling point for scenic routes — make sure passengers know if you have them
