Bookings & seat reservations

If passengers can book seats or tickets for your route online, you can add a booking link to your Scenic listing. This makes it easy for travellers to go straight from discovering your route to reserving their place.

Where to find it

In the route editor, go to Bookings.

What to add

You can add a URL to your booking system — whether that’s your own website, Eventbrite, a third-party booking platform, or your ticketing provider. You can also add a short label to explain what the link leads to, such as “Book seats online” or “Buy tickets”.

If your route doesn’t require bookings or seat reservations — for example, a standard pay-as-you-go bus route — you can leave this section blank.

Tips

  • Link directly to the booking page for this specific route, not just your homepage
  • Check the link works from a non-logged-in browser before adding it
  • Update the link if your booking system changes
  • If bookings open seasonally (e.g., from March each year), mention this in your service update callout or marketing description so passengers know when to expect it
