Explaining fares & tickets to your audience is very important. Here at Scenic we want to break down the barriers to passengers travelling, and explaining which tickets offer the best value is a key way to do this.

There are different ways you can manage your tickets on Scenic – it depends on which type of fare you’re adding or editing.

Types of tickets

Concessionary pass acceptance information

We’ve got a handy guide to editing concessionary pass information available within the Scenic Docs.

In short, you manage information regarding concessionary pass acceptance on each individual route.

DfT £3 single ticket initiative

If your route issues £3 single tickets as part of the Department for Transport’s £3 campaign, you need to assign that route to the “Never pay more than £3 per journey!” collection.

To do this:

  1. Edit your route listing
  2. Go to “Categories” > “Collections”
  3. Ensure the “Never pay more than £3 per journey!” option is selected
  4. Click “Save changes” and it’ll now appear in that collection of routes and the route listing will show the £3 single ticket option.

Adding your own fares to a route

It’s very simple to add your own fares & tickets to a route listing. We’ve produced a series of helpful guides on how to do this as there are a few steps to take.

  1. Add the ticket to Scenic
  2. Assign the ticket to your route(s)
  3. Updating an existing ticket
