A “place to visit” (or location) is a destination that passengers can discover through route listings on Scenic. Locations are typically towns, villages, areas of natural beauty, or any named place with things to see and do.
How locations work on Scenic
Locations are linked to route listings to show passengers what they can explore at each stop. Each location appears on the route listing page and has its own dedicated page on Scenic with a description, images, and linked attractions (things to do).
Locations are created by the Scenic team based on the stops your routes serve. You can edit their content and images, and link attractions to them from the Places to visit section of the SLM.
Finding your locations
Go to Places to visit in the SLM to see all the locations associated with your operator. From there you can search for a specific location and begin editing. See the other articles in this section for guidance on editing location content and images.
