A large proportion of the visitors to the Scenic website are OAPs with a free bus pass. We often get asked whether certain services accept free bus passes and have created tools to allow operators to show this on their listings.
Editing information
From your route edit dashboard, you can visit “Ticketing > Concessions” to control the concessionary pass acceptance information for the route.
From this link you’ll be presented with a simple form that allows you to:
- Choose whether you accept bus passes or not
- If you accept passes, you can:
- Select which passes are valid for free travel
- Give additional information about the acceptance if necessary – for instance cross-border services may have unique rules.
